Can I book a serviced apartment over the phone or by email?
Absolutely. If you prefer to book over the phone, just call us at +4 0745.500.676 / +4 0720.906.725 and we will be happy to give you advice on how to choose the accommodation that will suit you best and confirm your booking.
By email, just drop us a line: what type of apartment you would need, number of persons and the exact dates. You will receive an answer in maximum 24 hours, but usually in a matter of few hours.
How much do I have to pay to definitively book the apartment?
There is no reservation fee for booking an apartment.
Longer stays, higher discounts
Alia Accommodation gives discounts to our guests that stay longer in our Bucharest serviced apartments. There are different prices depending on whether you are staying 2-3 nights, 4-7 nights, 8-14 nights, 14-30 and beyond. A longer stay will always receive a higher discount.
You can get an accurate price quote two ways: - you can just search by date on our website, this will give you an exact price for each rental apartment - you can email us and we will provide you with an exact price for the specified dates
TIP: to get the best possible price for accommodation in Bucharest, please book your apartment with at least few weeks in advance.
Do you guarantee the exact apartment which I choose?
We guarantee the apartment category (studio, two or three rooms), the exact area and the confirmed rate, but not the specific serviced apartment. But rest assured, only in exceptional cases we will change your initial apartment with another one, which will be in the exact chosen area and have the same amenities. You will be notified in advance if we are forced to change your rental apartment.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, the minimum stay is 1 night.
Why should you better choose an apartment than a hotel?
By choosing a holiday apartment, you will get privacy, more independence and freedom during your stay. A self-catering apartment will allow you to experiment the real Romanian lifestyle. You will become for some days, a Romanian among the others in the town!
Also, the Bucharest apartments are quite cheaper than the hotels in Bucharest and more practical. And if you are traveling in family or with your friends, the apartment will allow you to be really together during your stay.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
Can I pay by credit card for my accommodation?
Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard for stays of minimum 5 nights.
No extra fees will be charged. It is important to notify us before your arrival that you will pay by card.
What methods of payment are accepted?
The payment for your accommodation is done at check-in. If you pay by bank transfer or PayPal, the transfer must be done before your arrival in Bucharest.
The following payment methods are possible: debit card, credit card, cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
Travellers’ Cheques and Euro Cheques are not accepted.
For stays longer than one month, the payment can be done on a monthly basis.
Are there extra charges for the gas, electricity or water?
There is no extra charge. The price we indicate to you is the total price for your stay.
Does the price includes breakfast or any meal?
There is no meal included in the serviced apartment price, neither is the breakfast. We don't offer breakfast. But we want to mention that all the apartments have an equipped kitchen and are situated close to some food stores.
In case you need us to make shopping for you please announce in advance so we can tell you the extra-charges.
What is the cancellation policy? You cancel before arrival: whatever the reason of the cancellation and whenever you notified it, there is no refund of the amount paid to secure the booking. Changes of arrival date, length of stay can be considered as a cancellation.
You cancel during your stay: in case of anticipated departure, whatever the reason of the cancellation and whenever you notified it, there is no refund of the rent paid. Please note that the rental rate has been calculated according the length of your stay.
For stays of more than 2 months, special departure conditions may be applicable upon particular prior agreement.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
How and when will I get the keys at check-in?
Check-in starts at 13:00 and the check-out time is until 12:00.
Late check-out: you can call us and in the case we do not have another guest to enter the same day, we can allow you to stay a little bit longer.
Check-in: we ask you to call us 1 hour before your arrival in Bucharest, if you come by train or by car. If your are coming by plane, please call us at your arrival at the Bucharest's or Henry Coanda airport.
We will then estimate your arrival time and one of our team member will welcome you in front of your apartment's building and give you the keys.
Late check-in/early check-out can be arranged?
If you arrive after 22:00, late check-in can be arranged, free of charge. In case you land late at night at Henri Coanda Airport, please let us know and send us the exact flight information. We will make the needed arrangements and leave the keys for you at the airport; you will receive a detailed map and instructions as well. The payment for accommodation will be made next day.
If you wish to check-out very early in the morning, we can arrange this as well, free of charge. We will provide you with detailed instructions.
YOUR STAY & APARTMENT
Do you offer wIfi Internet connection in the holiday apartments?
Yes, we provide unlimited Wi-Fi High speed Internet connection in each vacation rental, free of charge. We do not provide a computer or any other device. Do not forget to bring yours:)
You have unlimited bandwidth and unlike many hotels, we do not limit the number of connected devices. The WiFi connection is secured; you will receive at the check-in the password. We are not responsible if your laptop has firewall or any other security settings which obstruct the Internet connection.
topAre the linen and towels included in the total price?
At your arrival, you will find towels in the bathroom and sheets in every bed. This service is included in the final price that we give you with the booking confirmation.
Is there a cleaning service during our stay in the apartment?
Yes, the cleaning it's being done twice a week on a schedule agreed with you at your convenience. The cleaning is offered only for stays longer than 5 nights.
For national holidays, for the guests who already checked-in, no maid services will be provided. top
What are the differences between a self-catering studio and a one bedroom self-catering apartment?
A studio apartment has much more space than a hotel room. It comes with a bedroom area and a sitting/day area, which is your main living space, a small fully-quipped kitchen and a en-suite bathroom with shower cabin. The bed itself is a full size bed, double or queen. The room includes include a workspace with a desk, while the seating area has either two armchairs or a small couch, a coffee table and TV with around 100 channels, including multilingual ones (Euronews, CNN, France 24, CNBC). The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes even a washing machine.
The 1 bedroom serviced apartment is different than a studio, having a completely separated living room, with a small dining area and a working desk. The living room comes with a comfortable double sofa-bed (linens and extra towels are provided). The bedroom is separated as well and has a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped, and includes a cooker, microwave, fridge, cutlery and crockery, and a washing machine. The bathroom may come with a shower or a bathtub, depends on the chosen flat.
Can I bring my pet to the apartment?
Pets are only allowed on request. Charges may apply. Please check with us.
The accommodation reviews are genuine?
Each review comes directly from our guests. The insights they provide are invaluable both in helping you choose the right accommodation and in helping us correct any issues so that they don’t affect guests’ experiences in the future.
Only real guests who stayed in our serviced apartments are able to leave a review. False reviews are not possible.
After the check-out of any of our guests we send an email asking for the feedback and thoughts about our holiday accommodations. Be it bad or good, under our policy all reviews are published.
